Summer lovin'

Whew!  Summer is flying by!  I just finished four wonderful weeks working with the Teaching Artists at BAM's Summer workshop programs for youth.  I learned so much, and had a wonderful opportunity to teach a songwriting unit to 11-15 year olds in a Creative Writing Workshop, as a summer assistant teacher.  It was really cool to help these teens develop their voice through songwriting and lyrics about change and transformation.  

I've also moved!  I'm setting up my new digs and beautiful new studio space at my new apartment in Bushwick.  I'm available for in-studio lessons and can't wait to get cooking on some new music and lots of teaching come Fall! 

Now I'm gearing up for my annual trip west, and am SO excited to share music, nature, sunshine, and fun with all of my west coast family and friends.  Please check out my updated performance calendar, and let me know if you can make it to any of my shows.
